Dimore Studio is one of the most known and remarkable companies which carries not only the quality but also the legacy of the traditional Italian Interior design characteristics into their unique projects.
One of the Studio’s most recent accomplishments has succeeded in capturing the attention of many mid-century modern design enthusiasts – the Firenze Bellosguardo is a home with a very elegant take on this interior design style.
Firenze Bellosguardo was the first project by Dimore Studio in the lovely city of Florence. The home had already many interior design details inspired by many designers of mid-20th-century Italian design. However, despite the many modern details, this home has many advantages points when it comes to Mid-Century design.
According to the New York Times, the best way to define Firenze Bellosguardo‘s interior design style is “Far East meets Italian Deco Fantasy.” This was a project requested by the owners of the house, who are currently in their early 50s. They went with Dimore Studio because it is known for being one of Italy’s most remarkable avant-guard designers and furniture makers.
Dimore Studio had a lot of work, devoting themselves to turning a bland residence into a more poetic-styled residence. Many elements of mid-century decoration are present, including the use of wide glass and open rooms.
The classic furniture elements are also there, furnished in several elegant and unique combos of classic patterns – including some jewel tones mixed with extravagant patterns. The home itself was inspired by many pioneers of the contemporary Italian design, including Carlo Scarpa and Osvaldo Borsani.
Dimore Studio managed to give this unique home an elegant modernisation which made it even more timeless and tasteful – due to this the studio proves once again that they are the ideal minds to tackle elements related to classic-modern and mid-century Italian Interior Design.
