A dedicated project manager is assigned to each team and is responsible for ensuring that each project moves forward successfully, on time, and within budget. The project managers drive the project in collaboration with the designers, architects, and client teams, developing, documenting, and implementing the design. Schedules are verified on a frequent basis to ensure that all deadlines are met, status reports are given on a regular basis to ensure that all teams communicate effectively, and deliverables are checked against scope papers to ensure that all criteria are met.
Studio 11 Design has the unique capacity to take a hands-on approach to each and every project. Furthermore, their principals are actively involved in and committed to each of their undertakings. In addition, Studio 11 Design has in-house designers who specialize in three-dimensional visualization, brand identity development, art curation, and procurement. Studio 11 Design treats each project as if it were their only assignment and is entirely committed to creating the greatest quality of work for their clients on a consistent basis.
Kellie Sirna, Principal and Co-Founder of Studio 11 Design, has spent the last two decades traveling the world and designing some of the most inspiring locations in the hospitality business. Kellie has directed global projects for boutique and famed nameplates such as Caesars Entertainment, Hyatt, Starwood, Thompson Hotels, and many more since co-founding the firm with Co-Founder Stacy Elliston in 2011. Her client-focused approach, combined with a flair for strong leadership, has resulted in the formation of a talented, nimble, and dynamic team.
Stacy Elliston co-founded Studio 11 Design with the goal of creating a boutique firm in which the partners could be involved in all aspects of the design process. She relies on three decades of broad expertise working with companies such as MGM Mirage, Marriott, Starwood, IHG, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, and others to manage budgets and adhere to timetables. Stacy recently oversaw the construction of Vermont’s historic Equinox Resort: Luxury Golf & Spa Resort in Manchester, Vermont, as well as the premiere of The Daytona, Autograph Collection.
This boutique hotel conversion invites pacesetters and forerunners in creation, salutes originality, and serves as a home base for wayward trendsetters as well as an inspirational hub for determined artisans.
The design of the public areas evolves to match the needs of the dynamic community, incorporating artistic discoveries, mid-century charm, and existing industrial fabric.
The 201 premium guest rooms and suites feature elegant midcentury décor suffused with the warmth of Georgia hospitality – an urban hideaway that flawlessly integrates old Southern charm with the current innovation and influential design all within Atlanta’s most desired neighborhood.
Views and sundrenched rooms are provided via floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the house. In addition to luxurious accommodations, the iconic on-site restaurant Dirty Rascal and private members-only club Tesserae are eye-catching design highlights in their own right, with unique touches ranging from the furnishings to the artwork.
The Hutton Hotel continues to provide the same southern-style hospitality that guests have come to expect, but has now added a 5,000-square-foot music venue and writer’s creative spaces developed in collaboration with Red Light Management, as well as a new bar and restaurant offering an inventive take on traditional Southern cuisine.
The design of the hotel’s public areas, music venue, authors’ rooms, guestrooms, and suites was extended to offer residential comfort with a rock-and-roll edge.
Hotel Ketchum is a former motel turned boutique hotel in the little American ski town of Sun Valley, which Earnest Hemingway called home. Tasked with celebrating the destination’s vibrant sense of adventure as well as the area’s burgeoning sense of oddity and artistry in a way that previous Sun Valley hotels had yet to do. The overall purpose of this project was to secure the hotel’s sustainable design’s long-term survival.
The ecological concerns of Hotel Ketchum were carefully considered from the beginning. Hotel Ketchum was developed as a LEED-Silver certified mountain accommodation with the goal of reducing the property’s ecological footprint and impact on the environment. Art became the vehicle through which the local community was connected, with a muralist from the region creating the wall artwork and local artists creating all of the work on show at the hotel.
Generator D.C.’s design, located in the heart of Washington D.C., provided a tremendous chance to develop a hotel category that seems new and exciting to the US market. Lou Verne sourced artistic elements that pay tribute to the neighborhood’s DNA while integrating a decidedly Generator attitude, reflecting a colorful take on politicians from yesteryear.
The resort exemplifies a new type of hotel experience for the city amid one of its most relevant political eras, thanks to the design of the differently designed guest rooms and public spaces.
